Business Memberships

Michelle is a current Naples Chamber Ambassador and has participated in both of their leadership programs – Growing Associates in Naples 2012 and Leadership Collier 2014. She has coordinated the Youth Leadership Collier Application Evaluators for the past 3 years. She was recently asked to Chair their Small Business Council with duties beginning in May of 2018.

Michelle has been a proud member of Naples Area Professional League of Executive Services since 2010. Michelle has held various positions on the board including President in 2015. Michelle has been a board member of Community Owners Managers and Associates since 2016. She was key in bringing their website up to date and fulling functioning on-line in 2018. She considers her active involvement in other business networking groups an asset allowing her to connect with others and invite them when appropriate as a guest to our events.

Recent Achievements Section

In 2019 Michelle was awarded the Naples Chamber Ambassador of the Year Award. The Ambassador of the Year Award is given annually to a Chamber ambassador who exemplifies volunteerism and attends a variety of Chamber functions.

Also in 2019, Michelle was a finalist for the Technology Woman of the year Ward through the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership. This award honors the accomplishments of a Southwest Florida woman in a technology role and her commitment to diversity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Finally, Michelle was appointed to the Naples Chamber Board of Directors effective June 1, 2019. As 74% of their members are small business, they now have a representative on their board.

Staying Involved

Michelle believes education is the key to a strong community and enjoys giving back as a mentor for Grace Place, Champions for Learning and the Small Business Development Center at FGCU since 2012.
